Space Availability - Lloyd Sealy Library

The Library offers three types of study rooms:

• Group study rooms (rooms A, B, C and D): 

  • Group study rooms Rooms A and B are on the upper level of the Library
  • C and D are on the lower level
  • Enhanced with plug-and-play screen technology
  • Contain outlets and four HDMI plugs so laptops and other devices can plug into the HD wide-screen display
  • Several adapters ("dongles") and whiteboard markers are available to check out at the Reference Desk and Circulation Desk
     
• Media Room (Room E):
  • Located on the lower level of the Library
  • Equipped with a large display, a computer with DVD player, and a VCR (for viewing VHS tapes).
  • Single student use permitted.
  • Contain outlets and four HDMI plugs so laptops and other devices can plug into the HD wide-screen display
  • Several adapters ("dongles") and whiteboard markers are available to check out at the Reference Desk and Circulation Desk
     
• Individual study rooms (rooms numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4):
  • Each Individual Study Room is for one person only
  • Located on the upper level of the Library, in Quiet Study Area South
  • If you are on a Zoom call, speak quietly
  • Ideal for independent study, a Zoom class or interview or taking an online exam
  • Rooms 1 and 2 have desktop computers (PCs) and webcams
  • Rooms 3 and 4 do not have PCs
  • Small rooms with a work surface and outlet
